Ireland inbound visitor numbers from Italy were 26,400 in July, up 39.7pc on July 2025 and do down 49.7pc on pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 266.700 up 22.7c on the twelve months to July 2025.
The total for the first six months of 2026 was 128,700, up 44.9pc on the dismal figures for the first six months of 2025 and 22pc behind pre-pandemic..
This follows increases of 6pc in June, a huge 117pc in May (against a below par figures in May 2025), 22pc in April , 64.9pc in March, 30.3pc in February and 70.0pc in January 2025.
