Air Canada has increased flight frequencies between Toronto Pearson and Paris Charles de Gaulle from seven to ten weekly services for the holiday period between 18 December 2026 and 10 January 2027. The extra capacity utilises a mix of Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 787-8 aircraft to meet peak Christmas and New Year demand on this transatlantic route. Outside this holiday window the airline continues to operate the sector on a daily basis.
The expanded schedule adds a second flight on selected peak days, with the standard daily service AC872 joined on Tuesdays and Sundays by an additional night flight AC884 for the eastbound direction. Westbound operations see the regular daily return AC873 accompanied by an extra afternoon service AC885 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. This temporary boost concentrates capacity into a focused three-and-a-half-week period, allowing the airline to capture seasonal demand without overcapacity during the slower weeks of late January and February.
This holiday expansion follows a similar pattern to the carrier’s limited-time Toronto-Barcelona route operating across the same winter window. The frequency increase addresses the surge in travellers visiting friends and family or taking winter city breaks during late December and early January. Both eastbound flights land in Paris the following morning, providing travellers with additional scheduling options during the peak travel period.
