Air India and IHG Hotels and Resorts have struck a new loyalty partnership linking the airline’s Maharaja Club with IHG One Rewards. The partnership connects IHG’s more than 7,100 hotels across over 100 countries with Air India’s network spanning India and five continents.

Maharaja Club members will earn two Maharaja Points for every US$1 spent at most IHG-branded hotels, including Six Senses, InterContinental, voco and Holiday Inn properties. Stays at Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, IHG Residences and IHG Army Hotels earn at a lower rate of one Maharaja Point per US$1 spent. Members earn points in addition to any IHG One Rewards points accrued during the same stay.

IHG One Rewards members can exchange points for Maharaja Points at a rate of 1,000 IHG points for 200 Maharaja Points. The minimum transfer is set at 1,000 IHG points, considerably lower than the 10,000-point minimum required for exchanges with airline partners such as United and Etihad. To mark the launch, Maharaja Club members can earn triple points on qualifying IHG stays between 15 September and 31 December 2026.

Air India Head of Marketing Sunil Suresh shared: “Maharaja Club is evolving alongside Air India’s transformation, with a strong emphasis on creating richer experiences for our members beyond the flight itself.”
