Alan Sparling's ASM Ireland becomes GSA for Caribtours and launches new car hire website


Caribtours has appointed Alan Sparling’s ASM Ireland as its General Sales Agent for Ireland. The luxury tour operator, which recently expanded into Ireland, said “Alan has over 35 years of experience in the Irish travel industry and will bring a wealth of knowledge to this new role. Alan and his team will focus on offering Irish agents and their customers luxury holidays from Caribtours’ collection.”

It features destinations including the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Arabia, Europe, South Africa, Mexico, Costa Rica and the USA. In his new role with Caribtours, Alan will be providing Irish travel agents with his key expertise and support in providing premium holidays, including generous commissions, overbranded marketing, incentives, exclusive offers, events, FAM trips and customer service advice.

Alan set up his own General Sales Agent company, ASM Ireland in 2013. Alan, who previously worked for SAS Scandinavian Airlines as the Country Manager for Ireland, now represents ANA – All Nippon Airways, OBEO Travel DMC, Your Car Hire and SAS – Scandinavian Airlines.

Meanwhile, the trade-only car hire broker Your Car Hire has launched a new website. Ruth Bligh, Managing Director of Your Car Hire, said: “Being trade only we wanted to keep the simple effective booking process in place but now with a more contemporary feel that is easier on the eye.
