Barberstown Castle in Straffan hosts the Traitors Ireland finale party

Barberstown Castle in Straffan County Kildare has hosted The Traitors Ireland finale reveal party. The historic castle which dates back to 1288 was transformed for the occasion as guests gathered to discover who would ultimately triumph in the second season of the RTÉ series. Wolfhounds greeted arrivals while flames firepits and The Traitors Ireland flag flying high from the original castle turret created a dramatic atmosphere. A giant projection of The Traitors Ireland logo illuminated the ancient stonework of the castle providing an impressive backdrop as contestants media and familiar faces arrived for the finale.

After weeks of murders banishments accusations and double-crossing it was the Faithfuls who finally triumphed with Anna Murphy and Diego Rodrigues Caixeta emerging victorious after successfully banishing the remaining Traitors Carla Geary and Pauric O’Meara. Anna and Diego shared the final prize pot of €45,850 taking home €22,925 each. The finale party at Barberstown Castle brought together players from the series alongside well-known faces including broadcaster Oliver Callan TV chef Kevin Dundon comedian Kayleigh Trappe influencer Terrie McEvoy and broadcaster Eric Roberts as well as members of the Irish media.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception and a selection of canapés prepared by the Barberstown Castle culinary team before settling in to watch the final episode together with cheers erupting as Anna and Diego were finally revealed as the winners. Amanda Torrens owner and CEO of Barberstown Castle stated that hosting the finale was particularly fitting given the castle’s more than 700 years of history.

It was great fun to host the finale and to see the castle completely transformed for the night.”
