According to the CLIA State of the Cruise Industry Report 2026, the sector reached an all-time high of 37.2m passengers worldwide in 2025. Almost 90pc of passengers claim they will go on another cruise in the future. The event’s dual programme combines a professional focus during the first few days with initiatives aimed at end consumers at the weekend.

The programme will feature Plaza Cruise Market, Cruise Campus, Cruise Scavenger Hunt, the ¡Todos a bordo! events, and the Cruceroadicto Awards. Key topics include the evolution of the cruise experience and the growing polarisation of travel motivations: whether cruises remain primarily a way of discovering destinations or whether the ship itself has become the centrepiece of the holiday experience.
