Big 7 Travel has named Cork on a Fork Fest the number one food festival in Europe. The festival enters its fifth year with more than 150 events scheduled from 12 to 16 August. Organisers deliver the programme in partnership with local hospitality and tourism sectors.

The evaluation considered quality of local cuisine, atmosphere, accessibility and reputation among food enthusiasts. 

Over half the events remain free to attend. The festival mixes dining experiences, street feasts, markets, demonstrations and community activities.

Support comes from Fáilte Ireland, Cork City Council and multiple local partners. Visitors access the full programme at www.corkonaforkfest.ie where some events have already sold out. Early booking helps secure places at popular sessions.
