Boeing has completed a capstone review on the 787 programme, increasing output from five to seven aircraft per month. The airframer faces proposed fines exceeding €2.9m euro for safety violations from September 2023 to February 2024 related to the door plug incident.
Michael O’Leary of Ryanair says he expects to take delivery of 20 737-800 Max aircraft before December and four in the new year.
Kelly Ortberg shared “That plan is on track. They’re implementing it on schedule. So, I feel real good about that. We got one KPI that we’ve been bouncing between ‘green’ and a little bit ‘below green,’ which is rework. We see that progressing well. We’ll go from 42 and then we’ll go up another five, and we’ll go up another five.”
