Brenda Morgan of British Airways
Brenda Morgan pf BA won the overall award at the NI Travel Industry Awards in Newcastle, Co Down. Terra Travel won the Northern Ireland Travel Agent of the Year and Donna Rooney from TUI the travel agent of the year award.
Dougie Muir of Stewart Travel, Alyson McIlroy of Oasis Travel and Kerry Morrow of Thomas Cook were shortlisted in the travel agent category.
The Awards, organised by Jonathan Adair’s Northern Ireland Travel News in Association with Blue Insurance, wire attended by 450 members of the travel and tourism industry, as well as key suppliers. The event was compered by three members of the highly successful Channel 4 TV series Derry Girls, currently filming a second series.
The night saw performances of From the Mountains to the Sea’ with classical musicians, Irish dancers, Celtic drummers and contemporary performers, sponsored by Tourism Ireland, the Jet2holidays Orchestra and Soultown Groove and late night DJ Paul McKenna r.
