British Airways announces Winter 2026 network expansion

British Airways is to ntroduces two new destinations Melbourne Australia and Colombo Sri Lanka for winter 2026. British Airways continues to invest in giving customers more choice with additional winter flights to Cape Town, Tokyo, Haneda, Bridgetown and Kingston with San Jose moving to Heathrow for better connections from Dublin, Belfast, Shannon and Cork.

Across the US network frequencies at New Orleans increased to four flights per week, Baltimore becomes a daily service and Houston will operate 12 flights weekly.

These winter 2026 developments build on the recent short term additions introduced to meet growing demand following the situation in the Middle East.

In the past week British Airways has added seven extra services to Bangkok and Singapore plus four round trips to the Maldives with continued schedule reviews to add more capacity where needed.
