Options in the new brochure include city stays in Nashville, Las Vegas and Miami before exploring the Caribbean as well as the opportunity to experience Singapore, Tokyo or Bangkok before continuing on to discover more of Asia by sea. Yacht cruising is another area seeing increased interest with more holidaymakers looking beyond traditional cruise ships for a more intimate and flexible experience. The new brochure features a greater selection of yacht holidays including options for experienced bareboat charterers, flotilla holidays and skippered vacations.

Planning ahead is also becoming an increasingly important part of the cruise booking journey with Cassidy Travel reporting an increase in customers looking to secure their cruise holidays further in advance. Alongside the expanded cruise collection, Cassidy Travel has also introduced its new Cruise Club giving members access to exclusive discounts on selected cruise holidays, priority access to special offers and invitations to dedicated cruise events, ship visits and travel presentations.

Sharon Harney, General Manager of Cassidy Travel, shared: “More and more of our customers are taking to the ocean or river for cooling breezes and to enjoy the experience of visiting different destinations and waking up in a new port each day. We’re also seeing a real increase in customers looking to make more of their cruise holiday with longer stays, more exotic itineraries and pre and post stays or multicentre options that combine land and sea. Our specialised consultants have extensive firsthand experience of all the ships we feature. This means we can offer genuine insight and advice based on personal experience helping us match the right cruise line and ship to each customer’s individual needs.”
