CBRE Hotels has launched the sale of Raheen House Hotel in Clonmel, County Tipperary, with a guide price in excess of €2m. The 3-star Georgian country house hotel and wedding venue has hit the market as its long-time owner Elizabeth Day prepares to retire after running the business for over 30 years. The primary main house dates back to the early 1840s and carries a National Inventory of Architectural Heritage Regional Rating.
The property operates as a boutique hotel featuring individually decorated bedrooms, private dining spaces and the Buffalo Bar and Lounge. The property is a wedding venue capable of hosting up to 120 guests and serves as the home venue for the Irish music festival When Next We Meet. It was also featured in the Irish Independent’s Fab 50 list of Ireland’s best places to stay. The property sits on acres of mature gardens at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains with views of the Suir River.
According to CBRE Hotels, the property offers potential for a future buyer.
