Celebrity Cruises has cancelled a twelve months of Galapagos cruises aboard the Celebrity Xpedition and the Celebrity Xploration, following the sale of the ships to Lindblad Expeditions.
All sailings previously scheduled for these vessels between January and December 2025 have been canceled, with expedition-like cruises in the Galapagos Islands set to offer weekly departures throughout the year are affected.
Celebrity confirmed that the Celebrity Flora will continue sailing in the region after the departure of the Celebrity Xpedition and the Celebrity Xploration on December 28, 2024.
Booked guests and travel advisors are being offered options to move their bookings to cruises on the Celebrity Xpedition and Celebrity Xploration in 2024 or to cruises on the Celebrity Flora, with category prices protected at the original cruise fare rate or reduced to the current fare rate. The company is also accommodating air arrangements and reimbursing non-refundable change fees for transportation.
