Cork Airport has secured 39th position in the 2026 AirHelp Score global airport rankings on its first appearance in the report. The assessment of 279 airports across 76 countries placed Cork ahead of several major hubs. Dublin Airport dropped to 187th position in the same evaluation.
Cork Airport achieved an overall score of 7.94 out of 10 with strong marks of 8.5 for customer experience and 8.1 for on-time performance. The airport manages around 25,000 flights each year. Dublin Airport recorded an overall score of 7.42 and an on-time performance score of 7.5.
The 2026 report assigned 60pc weighting to punctuality. Smaller airports gained positions while some larger facilities declined in the rankings. Top positions went to Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Fortaleza Airport in Brazil and Cape Town International Airport in South Africa.
