A fire broke out onboard the Botticelli on 29 June 2026 while the vessel moored in Honfleur France. Emergency procedures enabled the safe evacuation of all 163 people including 132 passengers and 31 crew members. Nearly 90 firefighters brought the fire under control with no injuries reported.

CroisiEurope confirmed immediate implementation of procedures. The cruise line initiates passenger return arrangements. The Botticelli built in 2004 and renovated in 2016 operates Seine River cruises.
