The DAA has confirmed its intention to appeal Fingal Council’s decision that denied permission to demolish the spirals next to Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport.

The spirals have historically provided vehicular access to an upper-level car park that is now obsolete and no longer in use.

The daa says removal of the spirals is essential for the DAA to facilitate upgrades to Terminal 1 and improve the overall airport experience for passengers.
