Delta Air Lines reported that one of its A350s struck the tail of an Endeavor Air CRJ-900 while taxiing for departure at Atlanta, causing damage to both aircraft.

Fortunately, there were no injuries among passengers, and Delta is rebooking them on alternative flights.

A passenger described the incident on social media, mentioning “jarring” sounds and loud bangs caused by the collision.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that it will investigate the incident.
