Dusit Hotels and Resorts will open ASAI Gamuda Cove near Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 15 September 2026. The 280-room, 13-storey property is the brand’s largest and its first outside a city neighbourhood. Located in the Gamuda Cove township beside wetlands and arboretum attractions, it follows Dusit Princess Melaka and will be joined later by Dusit Princess Ipoh. The opening expands the Live Local lifestyle brand beyond Bangkok and Kyoto. The hotel sits approximately 20 minutes by car from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the Sepang International Circuit.

The property features an infinity pool overlooking the wetlands, co-working areas and three unique dining venues including Nasi & Khao, a restaurant serving Malaysian and Thai fusion flavours. Built around a Live Local concept, the hotel sits right next to the 1,111-acre Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands and the SplashMania Waterpark. The opening marks the second Dusit property in Malaysia, following the opening of Dusit Princess Melaka, with the third property Dusit Princess Ipoh scheduled to open shortly after in October 2026.

The opening of ASAI Gamuda Cove has been strategically timed just ahead of Formula 1’s highly anticipated return to the nearby Sepang Circuit in October. The hotel represents the expansion of the ASAI brand into a eco-recreational setting, moving beyond traditional urban locations. The 280 rooms make it the largest ASAI property to date.
