The 15th edition of the FAI Giornate d’Autunno has taken place on 10 and 11 October 2026. More than 700 locations opened across 350 Italian cities. Many sites are normally closed to the public.
The programme placed special emphasis on Made in Italy craftsmanship and heritage. Sites included historic palaces, hidden rooftop terraces, private villas, churches, gardens, artisan workshops, factories, ships, and quarries. More than 75 special artisan and industrial openings featured. The event was organised by FAI with support from local delegations and volunteer guides.
Visits operated with a suggested free contribution or donation to support the FAI foundation. Some locations required advance online booking or timed entry slots due to limited capacity. The event offered rare public access to usually closed or hidden locations. The 15th edition focused on Italian craftsmanship and Made in Italy heritage.
