Flight Centre has introduced an enhanced package known as the ‘Captain’s Pack’ for customers who book flights, accommodation, or holiday packages exclusively with them.
This pack offers a range of travel perks aimed at providing a hassle-free experience and peace of mind. Some of the benefits included in the Captain’s Pack are lost baggage tracking and cover, waivers for cancellations and changes in fees, and a family bonus perk where children under the age of 12 traveling with a paying adult can enjoy the associated benefits at no extra cost.
The Captain’s Pack combines various items together to offer customers great value compared to purchasing them separately. The pack is available in different tiers, starting with the ‘Essentials’ at £29pp, followed by a ‘Value’ add-on at £49pp, and the ‘Plus’ cover at £79pp. The higher the tier, the more perks are offered.
To take advantage of these travel perks, customers need to inform one of Flight Centre’s expert agents about their chosen pack when booking their travel plans. Andrew Stark, Flight Centre’s Global Managing Director, explains that the Captain’s Pack is based on current customer needs, as determined by global data and customer feedback collected over the past four years. He emphasizes that Flight Centre is proud to offer a Family Bonus, allowing children under 12 to benefit from the pack’s perks at no extra cost when traveling with a paying adult.
Flight Centre is the exclusive provider of the Captain’s Pack, distinguishing it from other travel agencies. According to Stark, it is a reflection of Flight Centre’s commitment to the evolving needs of travelers and their duty-of-care approach to customer service. In addition, Flight Centre has joined forces with Reforest to support reforestation projects in Australia, Morocco, Canada, and New Zealand. With every Captain’s Pack purchase, Flight Centre will plant a number of native trees on behalf of the customer as part of this reforestation partnership. The initial goal of the partnership is to plant one million trees within the first year
