Forbes Travel Guide has held its latest Exclusive Engagement in New York City on 11 June. The event took place at Centurion New York on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt and brought together luxury hoteliers and travel advisors. Guests enjoyed cocktails in the Canon Lounge followed by a four course dinner prepared by chef Daniel Boulud’s team.
Hoteliers from Ireland and other destinations attended along with advisors from New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC. Mark McSorley general manager of Dromoland Castle Hotel & Resort participated among the group. The gathering fosters relationships within luxury hospitality and travel sectors. The next event takes place in London on 25 June.
Mark McSorley shared “Thank you Forbes Travel Guide for such an extraordinary evening in New York City. By far the highlight of my week, and a reminder of why the Forbes standard remains without equal in luxury hospitality. The setting at Centurion New York was unbelievable, and the calibre of conversation in the room reflected exactly the kind of peer group this industry needs more of. Wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and forge new connections with hoteliers and travel professionals from around the world. Grateful to Jennifer Lodge, Richard Lebowitz and the entire FTG team for curating such a thoughtful experience. These evenings matter and sorry that I’m missing London next week!”
