France now has 33 hotels holding the official Palace designation after Atout France updated its list. Six new establishments joined the exclusive group while 27 others had their status renewed. France has 33 official Palace-designated hotels following the 2026 update by Atout France and the Ministry of Tourism.
Six properties earned the elite distinction for the first time. These included Bvlgari Hotel Paris, Cheval Blanc Paris, Fouquet’s Paris, Four Seasons Resort Megève in the French Alps, Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, and Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa in Champillon, Champagne. For the first time since the designation began in 2010, four hotels lost their status during the review. These included Mandarin Oriental Paris, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz, and Byblos Saint-Tropez.
