Hard Rock Hotels is temporarily closing Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta for five-month renovations. Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta closed on 20 July and is scheduled to reopen on 17 December 2026. Hard Rock Hotel Cancun will close on 3 August and is scheduled to reopen on 15 December 2026.
Renovations include a complete redesign of guest rooms, addition of new family zones for children and teenagers, comprehensive refreshes of restaurants, convention spaces and guest experience zones, a complete redesign of the beachfront wedding chapel at Vallarta, and installation of new music history collections. Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos and Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya remain fully open and operational.Stays for the winter 2026/2027 season can be reserved with early-booking privileges. Both properties will reopen ahead of the peak winter travel season
