Hurtigruten has launched its annual Loyalty Month on 15 September 2026 with extra discounts for members of its 1893 Ambassador loyalty programme. The company has offered non-members up to 30pc off sailings under its Live the Legend of Norway campaign, while members have saved an additional 10pc off sailings through March 2029 if they booked by 15 October 2026. Hurtigruten has recorded a 13pc increase in loyalty members compared to the same period last year.
Hurtigruten shared that the company wants to ensure that its highly valued 1893 Ambassador members always have the best deals, which are combinable with its regular offers. They shared that the Norwegian coast changes dramatically along its way and between seasons, and that many repeat guests want to experience it at different times of year and on different itineraries and ships. He shared that with the first of three Signature Limited Collection sailings launching next year, the company will offer guests three new experiences focusing on fjords and the Northern Lights.
Level 1 members have received an additional 5pc off sailings departing through 31 March 2029 if they booked by 15 October 2026, while Level 2 members have received 10pc off. Hurtigruten has stated that the 1893 Ambassador discounts are available when booked through a travel advisor, trade partners or directly with the company, and that the discount will be applied automatically when correct membership details are included. The discount has applied to Coastal Express sailings through 31 March 2029, Svalbard Line sailings during the 2027 summer season, North Cape Line sailings from Oslo between 25 September 2026 and 17 December 2027 and upcoming Signature Limited Collection itineraries.
