Iberia Express is extending its Cork – Madrid service for Summer 2017.

The service to the Spanish capital will take off on June 3rd, earlier than this year and operate twice weekly, every Saturday and Wednesday until September.

The airline will operate an Airbus A320 aircraft on the route, with 180 seats across business and economy. Iberia Express is the only airline to carry pets to Spain.

Niall McCarthy, Managing Director at Cork Airport said: “The popularity of the Cork to Madrid route last year exceeded expectations, so we welcome this increase in flights for this coming summer season.
