InsureandGo has analysed over three million traveller reviews and published a global ranking of attractions described as worth it. Kings Canyon Lookout in Australia leads with 28.7pc of reviews using the phrase. Skellig Michael Monastery in Ireland ranks second at 26.3pc.
Remote sites dominate the top ten including Franz Josef Glacier Viewpoint and the Great Wall Jinshanling section. Iconic locations such as Sagrada Família score lowest with only 0.56pc. The research examined 4- and 5-star reviews.
