Emirates cabin crew members Éabha and Doireann Sloyan from Kilkenny are flying together as the UAE marks 2026 as the Year of the Family. The sisters relocated to Dubai for careers with the airline driven by a shared interest in travel. Éabha joined first after graduating from NUIG while Doireann transitioned from a corporate role inspired by her sister’s experience.

Both completed eight weeks of training covering hospitality, safety, and procedures before operating on the global network. They highlight destinations such as Rio de Janeiro and Australia and describe Dubai as offering balanced lifestyle opportunities with a strong Irish community. Emirates returns to Ireland for recruitment in Dublin on 30 January and Cork on 26 February.
