Wendy Wu Tours has launched its 2019-2010 ‘The Complete Collection’ of travel experiences following the highest revenue in the company’s history this year.
Deputy Managing Director John Warr, who was in Dublin to launch the brochure along with Ireland Sales Manager John Booty, said it is a handy all-in-one guide for agents’ shelves, featuring Asian favourites as well as South American destinations including Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

The company has just recruited a Sales Manager for Scotland, freeing up John Booty to concentrate on serving the trade in the Irish market full-time with more visits to local agents to raise awareness of the brand. Mr Warr said Ireland is a big focus for the company in the coming year.
John Booty added: “Ireland is incredibly important for Wendy Wu Tours, having seen tremendous growth year-on-year. The overseas escorted touring market is booming, so much so that I am very pleased to say that I will now be based full time in Ireland, focused on growing the escorted touring sector and meeting the demands of our agents and customers.”
He said one big advantage is the current offer for a one-way Business Class upgrade on Cathay Pacific out of Dublin for a supplement of €299pp, a major saving on regular Business Class fares. Doing Business Class return comes in at €1299pp, and the offers are available up to October 31 next.
New for the upcoming season is a 17-day Japan Uncovered adventure, as well as shorter itineraries in the country as it gears up for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Elsewhere, there is a new 15-day Vibrant Vietnam offering, 16-day Vietnam and Cambodia Experience, with six trips focused exclusively on solo travellers. www.wendywutours.ie
