The carrier now offers 245,554 monthly seats out of Medellín, accounting for approximately 24% of its entire domestic capacity in Colombia, with Available Seat Kilometers from the city set to jump 8% compared to 2025.
The airline operates 162 weekly frequencies across 7 domestic destinations, including 100 weekly flights to Bogotá, 14 to Cali, 14 to Barranquilla, 13 to San Andrés, 7 to Pereira, 7 to Montería, and 7 international flights to Lima, Peru. The fastest-growing routes connecting to Medellín are Barranquilla (+64%) and San Andrés (+63%).
The base will supports the overnight stay of eight aircraft, enabling local technical teams to perform critical engine, landing gear, and fuselage maintenance. The operation employs 419 direct personnel, including pilots and cabin crew, while a global call centre in Medellín employs 700 service agents. The airline also operates 7 weekly cargo frequencies to Miami using Boeing 767 aircraft, primarily supporting the region’s flower export industry.
