LEGEND Lore: AquaDome Market: A Focused Food Hall on Legend of the Seas, aboard the world’s largest cruise ship

0

The AquaDome Market concept is exclusive to Icon-class ships. It first appeared on Icon of the Seas with an initial lineup (including Crème de la Crêpe alongside other stations such as Mac’s, GNGR, Feta Mediterranean, and Toast & Garden). Star of the Seas received an updated selection (retaining Crème de la Crêpe while introducing concepts like Pig Out BBQ, Mai Thai, and La Cocinita). Legend of the Seas expands to six stations with its distinct roster.  This configuration on Legend of the Seas provides a targeted range of international counters within one accessible location, integrated into the ship’s AquaDome environment.

On Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, the AquaDome Market occupies a section of the AquaDome on Deck 15. This covered, multi-station food hall forms part of the ship’s forward superstructure, with expansive windows that overlook the sea and integrate with the surrounding AquaDome venue, which includes pools, loungers, and entertainment spaces. Guests order directly from individual counters and find seating nearby in the open, light-filled area. The market operates as a complimentary, casual venue open for extended hours, typically from late morning into late evening, allowing flexible visits between activities. It  features six stations in total, five of which are new introductions specific to this ship’s configuration: Adobo, Coun Cajun Kitchen (often referred to as Cajun Kitchen), Crème de la Crêpe, La Española, Seoulmate, and Simply Pressed. This marks an expansion from the five-station setup on earlier Icon-class vessels.

  • Adobo concentrates on Mexican street-style items. Expect made-to-order tacos with various fillings, along with other quick Mexican favourites prepared fresh at the counter.
  • Coun Cajun Kitchen (Cajun Kitchen) draws from Louisiana traditions. Dishes include bayou-inspired bites such as gumbo, with options built around Cajun seasoning and comfort elements.
  • Crème de la Crêpe returns as the sole station carried over from prior Icon-class ships. Chefs prepare sweet and savoury French crêpes to order on-site. Examples include combinations with fresh fruit and spreads for sweet versions, or ham and cheese for savoury. Guests select fillings and watch preparation.
  • La Española specialises in Spanish tapas. Small plates allow sampling of bites that reflect Spanish flavours and presentation styles.
  • Seoulmate introduces Royal Caribbean’s first dedicated Korean concept. It centres on umami-rich Korean dishes, such as rice bowls assembled with selected proteins and accompaniments.
  • Simply Pressed operates as a fresh juice and smoothie station. Staff prepare drinks on demand using freshly squeezed ingredients.
