LEGEND Lore: Hooked Seafood: Specialty New England-Style Restaurant on Legend of the Seas, aboard the world’s largest cruise ship

0

On Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, Hooked Seafood occupies a prominent position inside the AquaDome on Deck 15. This enclosed venue sits forward in the dome structure, with large curved windows offering expansive sea views and integration with the surrounding water features and entertainment spaces. Guests book via the ship’s app or guest services for lunch or dinner. The restaurant operates as a specialty dining venue with a per-person cover charge that includes all items on the menu. Reservations secure a table in the main dining area or, in some cases, the adjacent Celebration Table for private groups.

The menu draws on New England coastal influences with an emphasis on fresh seafood preparations, raw bar items, and shareable plates. Dishes arrive plated with attention to seasoning and presentation, and guests may order multiple starters or mains.

  • Starters feature soft-shell crab fried golden brown with creamy remoulade sauce, Maryland crab cake with tartar sauce, traditional or Mexican-style shrimp cocktail, ceviche (citrus-cured or spicy ají amarillo), fresh-shucked oysters with mignonette and cocktail sauces, calamari, coconut shrimp, baked oysters, and New England clam chowder. Biscuits and other breads accompany many selections.
  • Main courses centre on seafood options such as Alaskan salmon prepared to order with buttered seasonal vegetables and lemon, drunken mussels steamed in garlic white wine broth, lobster tail grilled to order, and combinations such as surf and turf with steak and lobster. Additional choices include grilled fish fillets and other daily catches. Sides arrive separately, with options such as vegetables and potatoes.
  • Desserts include composed plates with chocolate elements, fruit-based options, and classics suited to the seafood theme. Lunch menus offer lighter selections such as clam chowder, sandwiches, and smaller portions of mains, while dinner presents the full range.
  • Portions allow for multiple courses, with servers providing guidance on pairings and preparation styles.

Hooked Seafood appears on select Royal Caribbean vessels. On Icon-class ships it resides in the AquaDome on Deck 15 on Legend of the Seas, Star of the Seas, and Icon of the Seas, with the same menu framework and ocean-view setting. The restaurant also operates on Oasis-class ships including Wonder of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, and Utopia of the Seas, as well as on Navigator of the Seas, where exact deck placement and surrounding design vary by class but the New England-style seafood focus and cover charge structure remain consistent.
