This three-level venue features a central staircase, expansive chandeliers, and large windows that provide sea views, particularly from upper levels. Guests access it via lifts and staircases near the Royal Promenade area. The restaurant serves breakfast and brunch with a mix of buffet and à la carte options, lunch on sea days, and dinner each evening. Traditional fixed seating times operate alongside My Time Dining for flexibility. All meals fall within the cruise fare.

The space accommodates large numbers of passengers across its levels while maintaining table service with dedicated waiters. Dinner menus rotate nightly with themed selections, supplemented by Royal Classics available every evening.

Starters on sample menus include duck terrine with apricot chutney on toasted sourdough, Vidalia onion tart with whipped eggs, cream, and smoked bacon, and spiced eggplant and Kalamata olive tartare with red pepper hummus on garlic bread. Shrimp cocktail and escargots appear regularly.

Main courses draw from international influences. Examples feature Moroccan spiced ahi tuna over mint couscous with sautéed spinach and tequila peppers, mojo-marinated bone-in pork loin with sweet potatoes, broccoli, and cumin-citrus reduction, and southern fried chicken. New York strip steak and prime rib rank among consistent Royal Classics. Upgraded items such as fillet mignon or lobster tail incur an additional charge.

Desserts rotate through options including tres leches cake soaked in sweet cream, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and Grand Marnier soufflé. Kids’ menus provide items such as chicken tenders, pizza, and burgers.

Thematic evenings introduce focused selections, such as French night with relevant dishes or Caribbean night featuring regional flavours on appropriate sailings. Breakfast offers hot and cold items with made-to-order eggs, while brunch includes heartier combinations.

The Main Dining Room serves as the primary table-service restaurant across the Royal Caribbean fleet. On Icon-class ships, including Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, it occupies an identical three-deck configuration in the aft on Decks 3, 4, and 5 with the same rotating menu structure. Earlier classes, such as Oasis, Quantum, and Freedom, carry their own versions, which vary in size, décor details, and exact deck placement but follow the same operational model of nightly changing international menus and included multi-course service.
