The restaurant operates for breakfast from approximately 8:00 to 9:30, lunch from 12:00 to 13:30, and dinner from 17:00 to 21:30, with reservations advised through the ship’s app. It provides a fixed, included experience exclusively for Star Class and Sky Class suite guests, while Sea Class junior suite occupants receive dinner access subject to availability.

The space spans two decks and features a layout that separates more intimate tables from open sections, with menus that rotate daily while maintaining core Mediterranean-California influences. Dishes arrive plated with attention to fresh ingredients and balanced seasoning.

Breakfast selections include a spinach and feta frittata, French toast topped with caramelised bananas and syrup, and a Mediterranean plate of pan tomàquet, hummus, prosciutto, and Manchego cheese. Guests can also order made-to-order eggs and other standard items prepared to specification.

At lunch, options centre on flatbreads and composed plates. A Margherita flatbread comes with Buffalo mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, and fresh basil. Herb-crusted chicken breast pairs with roasted squash, Provençal tomatoes, and lemon essence. Salads, soups, and lighter pasta dishes complete the midday choices.

Dinner menus change regularly. Starters have featured escargots in garlic and parsley butter, lobster salad, shrimp cocktail, and crispy pork belly. Main courses include roasted veal tenderloin with vin jaune sauce, green pea purée, caramelised onions, and fava beans; New York strip steak; scallops; and truffle risotto. Coastal Kitchen forms part of the suite offering on Icon-class vessels. It first appeared in an expanded two-deck format on Icon of the Seas in the Suite Neighbourhood on Decks 16 and 17. Star of the Seas carries the identical two-level version with the same access structure. Legend of the Seas replicates this setup as the third Icon-class ship. Earlier versions of Coastal Kitchen exist on select Oasis-class and Quantum-class ships, but these occupy single-level spaces with different surroundings and, in some cases, broader access policies for Pinnacle Club members. The Icon-class iteration remains distinct in scale and location.
