Match Hospitality, the official agency for the event, released thousands of previously blocked rooms two weeks earlier. Hotels struggled to resell them at rates that had doubled or tripled compared with the previous year. Luxury rooms were priced between €500 and €1,000 while mid range options stood at €200 to €400.
