MedCruise General Assembly concludes in Šibenik

The 67th MedCruise General Assembly has concluded in Šibenik, Croatia, hosted at the Amadria Park Convention Centre. 

The event, co-organised with the Šibenik Port Authority, saw 214 attendees from over 20 countries, including 28 cruise executives from 24 brands. A record 500 B2B meetings occurred, fostering dialogue and partnerships. Discussions covered regional cooperation, social media strategies, travel documentation, infrastructure, and sustainable cruise growth, with a focus on year-round cruising to leverage cultural heritage and local experiences. 

Delegates explored Šibenik’s historic old town, Renaissance architecture, and UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral through organised excursions.

The prospect of promoting increased year-round cruising was discussed, with the opportunities to extend economic benefits through cultural and natural attractions.

Theodora Riga shared: “My sincere thanks go to the Port of Šibenik, to the MedCruise Secretariat, and to all the institutions that supported this Assembly, the Šibenik-Knin County, the City of Šibenik, and the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.”
