Meyer Group announced the construction of a fourth Disney Wish-class ship to operate in Japan.
Oriental Land Company will build and operate the Disney-branded cruise business in Japan.
The shipbuilding contract was signed by Bernard Meyer in Tokyo, with delivery scheduled for 2028.
Meyer Werft has a strong relationship with Disney, with the first ship in the Wish class delivered in 2022 and two sister ships under construction for delivery in 2024 and 2025.
Oriental Land Company, which operates the Disney theme parks in Japan, is expected to commence operation of the ship by early 2029.
