Minor Hotels reports rise in middle east bookings

Minor Hotels has recorded a sharp rise in Middle East bookings in the last week of June 2026 as traveller confidence returned. Weekly room-night bookings have increased 143pc while international wholesale bookings have risen 575pc. The group has seen strong pickup for third quarter travel.

The company reported record-breaking Eid Al Abha revenue that rose 23pc compared with the previous year. On-the-books average daily rate for the third quarter has paced 17.1pc ahead of 2025. Staycation and intra-GCC demand have driven the rebound across 26 properties in the region.

Minor Hotels has continued to invest in new signings and brand expansion in the Middle East. The group has maintained pricing discipline while demand has returned from key markets including tEngland, Germany, and Russia.

Amir Golbarg Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Middle East & Africa at Minor Hotels, shared “Our confidence in the Middle East has never wavered. Travellers are eager to resume both business and leisure travel across the region, and we’re seeing strong momentum heading into Q3 2026.”
