MSC Cruises has been preparing a full programme of themed entertainment running on every ship from 1 to 31 October, with Halloween activities including parties, quizzes, arts and crafts and live shows for guests of every age. The line-up features dedicated activities for children, teens and adults, with the entertainment built into the sailing and included in the fare, requiring no advance planning from guests. The youth and cruise teams will lead the month-long programme, which includes a Spooky House makeover of the kids’ space once a week, where little ones can explore with the youth team in costume to greet them.
Younger guests can participate in Wicked Wiggle Dance Shop Halloween-themed dance lessons with mascot Doremi, a weekly Halloween Carnival with games and prizes, crafting sessions where children design their own Halloween makeup and costumes, and a Halloween Costume Competition hosted by mascot Doremi with an MSC officer on judging duty. The Family Spooky Party offers a celebration with games and dancing set to a Halloween soundtrack, while teenagers have their own dedicated line-up including Haunted Face Paint & SFX sessions and an Abracadabra Party held once per sailing from 10 pm to 1 am. Adult activities include a Halloween Costume Competition with a prize for the best-dressed guest, a Halloween Party with themed music and dancing among spooky decorations, and a Haunted Hallway Challenge cabin-door decorating competition.
A Halloween Quiz challenges guests on the origins and traditions behind Halloween, while the Ghostly Groove Dance Class offers a guided routine choreographed to seasonal tunes taught by the ship’s entertainment team. Boos & Ballads Halloween Karaoke Night dedicates an evening to Halloween classics. Half-term Halloween cruises remain available to book, including a seven-night sailing on 25 October 2026 on MSC World Europa departing from Genoa and visiting Naples, Messina and Valetta, with prices starting from €1,299 per person.
