National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has been expanding its high-end collection of expeditions with 17 new itineraries, responding to growing demand for travel that combines rare access, expert insight and meaningful connections with local communities. The latest additions have brought the total number of trips to 67 across 48 destinations, building on Signature’s philosophy of redefining luxury travel through deeper, more immersive experiences in the world’s most fascinating destinations. The collection has been leading the way in bringing community tourism into the luxury travel space, creating opportunities for travellers to connect with local people, cultures and traditions while helping tourism deliver lasting benefits to the communities that host them.
The new itineraries span Africa, Oceania, Europe, South America and Asia with highlights including safari drives in Kenya’s Samburu and Masai Mara with a visit to Reteti, an Indigenous community-owned elephant sanctuary; a private Milford Sound cruise, Waitomo Glowworm Caves exploration with a leading ecologist and traditional Māori experiences in New Zealand; private geothermal tours, Northern Lights hunts and volcanologist-led geology exploration in Iceland; and canopy wildlife spotting with after-hours access to the Intiñan Museum in Ecuador’s Amazon. Each departure features National Geographic Expedition Experts in fields including photography, conservation, wildlife biology, geology, archaeology and history, alongside a highly experienced National Geographic Expedition Leader whose local knowledge and storytelling provide the context that brings each destination to life.
The collection also offers Signature Moments, exclusive once-in-a-lifetime experiences created for these expeditions, including exploring Norway’s Fjord Centre alongside a curator and cooking with a world-renowned chef in Morocco. Additional destinations featured in the latest release include India, Botswana, southern Africa, East Africa and the United States. The expansion follows the January 2026 debut of the co-branded collection, which has become G Adventures’ most successful product launch to date with travellers from their 20s to their 80s booking these journeys. The collection has demonstrated strong demand for travel that aligns with traveller values while maintaining outstanding service and comfort.
Yves Marceau, VP Product at G Adventures, shared: The overwhelmingly positive response to National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has demonstrated travellers are looking for trips that align strongly with their values. They still expect outstanding service and comfort, but increasingly they’re looking for experiences that broaden their perspective.
