Dingle, Galway and Killybegs’ first cruise call of the year was the Norwegian Star, a 91,000-tonne ship with a capacity of nearly 2,300 passengers, on a ten-day cruise around Ireland starting from Southampton.

Passengers disembarked to explore Galway City and Connemara while others enjoyed the An Tóstal festival from aboard the ship.

The cruise route included stops in Belfast, Killybegs, Dingle, Dublin, and Cobh, before returning to Southampton.

Other cruise ships, including the World Explorer, CFC Renaissance, and Ambience, are scheduled to visit Galway in the coming months.
