The Great Southern Killarney has launched its summer programme with refreshed food and drink offerings across its recently refurbished restaurants and bars. Arbour’s summer menu takes an ingredient-led approach, showcasing the region’s exceptional producers from premium beef and lamb to fresh leaves and cresses. Brownes’ new cocktail menu is inspired by the legacy of the Browne Family and Lord Kenmare, highlighting Kerry’s landscapes through crafted drinks.

Mr Browne’s Whiskey Club returns this summer, offering intimate tastings of exceptional Irish whiskeys led by expert Mark Lonergan, complete with a welcome pour and curated charcuterie board. The next Whiskey Club takes place from 8.30-10pm on 14 August, with tickets priced at €40 per person. 1854 Champagne Moments invites guests to gather in the hotel lobby every Friday evening at 18:54 with a glass of champagne, a nod to 1854, the year the hotel opened.

The Taste the Wild Foraging Experience is available for two-night stays over the summer, including a foraging experience and a four-course dinner in Arbour, alongside two nights’ accommodation for two adults and full Irish breakfast each morning. Nightly rates start from €375. The hotel is part of the Scally Hotel Collection.
