Newtown Park Hotel has received Great Place to Work certification, adding to the hotel’s recent recognition as a Quality Employer Hotel for 2026 under the Irish Hotels Federation’s Quality Employer Programme. Employing 110 people, Newtown Park Hotel places a focus on creating a workplace where employees can develop, feel valued and build long-term careers in hospitality. The certification is based on feedback from the hotel’s own team members.
General Manager Michael Halpin welcomed the recognition, stating that the hotel believes in treating people as they would like to be treated themselves, creating a workplace where the team feels valued and supported with a focus on work-life balance. Halpin stated that the hotel’s people are at the heart of its success, so being recognised as a Great Place to Work based on feedback from the team is an endorsement of the culture being built at Newtown Park Hotel.
The Quality Employer Programme recognises hotels that demonstrate excellence in human resource practices and employee development. Newtown Park Hotel continues to focus on creating a workplace where employees can develop and build long-term careers in hospitality.
