The NI Hotels Federation has opened nominations for its 2026 Rising Stars competition, recognising hospitality professionals aged 30 and under working in member hotels. Entries close on September 4, 2026, with each hotel permitted to nominate one individual.
The initiative forms part of Hospitality Exchange 2026, the NIHF’s flagship conference taking place at Crowne Plaza Belfast on October 13-14, 2026. Winners will be honoured at the Leadership Lunch on October 13, featuring Michelin-starred chef Spencer Metzger as a special guest. The competition is supported by Alkimii and Excel Recruitment.
Vicky Green, President of the NI Hotels Federation, shared that the Rising Stars competition showcases young talent and highlights career opportunities in the hospitality sector, with the industry’s success depending on attracting and retaining skilled individuals in their early careers.
