Nicko Cruises has cancelled two further voyages on the Vasco da Gama, bringing the total of cancelled cruises to five. The 1994 built ship remains out of service since late April 2026 due to technical issues that require extended repairs. The latest cancellations affect a charter cruise from Kiel on 9 June 2026 and an 18 night Scandinavia and Iceland sailing on 14 June 2026.

Affected guests of the 14 June departure can choose a full refund, rebooking on a similar 2027 sailing with a 10 pc discount or a future cruise credit. The company has prioritised guest safety and experience quality in its decision to extend the shipyard period..
