Ponant’s Le Commandant Charcot is the first vessel to reach the North Pole of Inaccessibility, the most remote point in the Arctic Ocean from land.

This location was first flown over by Hubert Wilkins in 1927, but it remained untouched until this expedition.

The expedition included guests, crew, and an international team of 20 scientists, marking a significant achievement in polar exploration.

The ship, equipped with a Polar Class 2 hull, travelled from Nome, Alaska to Longyearbyen in Svalbard, also crossing the Magnetic North Pole and the Geographic North Pole during its journey.
