Riviera Travel has expanded the availability of specially priced solo cabins across selected 2026 river cruise departures. Agents have booked these cabins both online and over the phone with the solo price applied directly to the advertised rate. The offer has allowed solo travellers to join standard departures with couples and groups while they benefit from Riviera’s solo expertise.
The company has responded to a 41pc year-on-year increase in solo passengers and has continued demand for its solo experiences. Availability has remained limited with cabins released on a first-come first-served basis. Selected itineraries with savings have included Cruise the Heart of Europe on 30 September 2026 with savings of up to €3,525, Rhine Strasbourg and Heidelberg on 22 August 2026 with savings of up to €1,875, and The Blue Danube on 12 August 2026 with savings of up to €1,675.
Riviera Travel has specialised in solo guest experiences and has confirmed the launch of its first dedicated solo-only ship for 2027. These additional cabin options have given agents greater flexibility to match solo customers with suitable itineraries.
