Riyadh Air has partnered with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to introduce the Astrova in-flight entertainment (IFE) system across its Boeing 787-9 fleet, featuring 4K OLED HDR 10+ screens for high-quality visuals and audio.

Passengers will benefit from the ability to connect their wireless headphones via Bluetooth and can browse IFE options through the Riyadh Air app before their flight, launching their chosen content upon boarding.

The Astrova system allows users to save their viewing progress, enabling them to resume films and shows from where they left off on future flights.

In compliance with Saudi Arabia’s new USB-C charging port mandate effective January 2025, the IFE solution includes USB-C charging ports that provide up to 100W of power, allowing mobile devices to pair with the in-flight screens and enhancing the overall guest experience.
