Roberto Bruzzone has been appointed as president of MSC Cruises, based at the company’s headquarters in Geneva. He will work with leadership teams worldwide to support the growth and development of MSC Cruises’ fleet, operations and people. Bruzzone brings more than 20 years of experience in the cruise industry, having held senior operational and executive leadership roles across major global cruise companies.
His career includes 14 years at Carnival Corporation & plc, where he rose to Vice President of Technical Operations, followed by roles as Chief Operating Officer at Independent Maritime Advisors, Senior Vice President of Marine Operations at Silversea Cruises, and Senior Vice President of Marine at Royal Caribbean Group. He also served as Senior Executive Global Hospitality consultant at Kempinski Hotels during a mandatory non-compete period.
Bruzzone holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Genoa, an Executive MBA from London Business School, and an Executive Master of Advanced Studies in International Hotel Management from Les Roches Hospitality School.
