Ryanair November passenger number growth accelerated in November to 8.4m. Ryanair aniticipates 119m passengers in full year 2016, putting it within sight of the Lufthansa group as Europe’s largest airline.
It sets the eighth successive record for the airline, which passed 11m passengers for a month in July and again in August, the first European airline to do so since Aeroflot. The passenger numbers for November now equate with weak season numbers in July 2013.
It recently announced its 86th base.
