Sad news: Paul Phillips has died.
For 20 years he served as master of ceremonies and floor manager for the Holiday World Shows in Dubln, Belfast and Cork.

Peacefully in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff at Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin. Beloved son of the late Frank and Peggy and brother of the late Ward. Greatly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, sister Jocelyn, brother Ray, sisters-in-law Joan and Derville, brother-in-law Frank, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Thursday afternoon (29 September) from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Removal on Friday morning (30 September) to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
